25 Random Things...

So I finally got bored enough to do this. I got tagged by a few people some time ago on Facebook, but instead of doing it there - I'm doing it here - 'cause I'm a rebel like that...

Rules:
Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.

(To do this, go to "notes" under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish.)

1) Naturally, I'm a quiet person. I'm a listener, and I think its how I obtained most of my knowledge about life.

2) I can kill an entire day just sitting at my computer.

3) I'm a work-a-holic. This has caused some problems since I've been laid off since the beginning of the year, and I simply don't know what to do with my time. Hence part of the reason why I'm lead to do things like this.

4) I sometimes wish I could reconnect with my best friends from 1st grade - just to see how we've grown. I think it'd be interesting.

5) I'm unenthusiastic. I can truly be excited over something, and sound completely not interested. Should I try to sound excited about something, it sounds really fake and sarcastic.

6) As I write this, I'm on the phone with someone, and still following the conversation. Like I said, I'm a good listener.

7) Gin is my poison of choice. Nothing gets me "there" quicker, not even Long Islands.

8) For the first 20 years of my life I never celebrated Christmas. Only in the past 2 years have I started exchanging gifts, but the holiday itself doesn't mean much to me.

9) In addition to the aforementioned holiday, I've never celebrated Easter either; and I grew up in a religious household.

10) I have a lot of patience, but once it's ran out for a particular situation or person; it's hard to get back.

11) I'm not a very forgiving person either, but I am working on that.

12) Despite my unenthusiastic tone, I've been told my voice is sexy, and that I should be a late-night radio host and/or sex phone operator. I'm considering the latter of the two since it doesn't require a degree.

13) My maturity level has always been above those in my age group. I feel this may become the reverse when I actually become older.

14) I often have knowledge of - and give great advice on - situations I've never been in. This sometimes confuses me as I've never been in half of the situations that I'm able to relate to or give advice on.

15) I've only had one job in my life so far.

16) I ran the 400, 200, 400 hurdles, and 110 high hurdles in high school. I wasn't very good, but the experience gave me a nice body.

17) I used to play the saxophone in both concert and marching band in high school.

18) I ceased all extra curricular activity in high school after I started working. [I'm a work-a-holic, remember?]

19) I find it hard to answer the question: "Why are you still single?"

20) I like the smell of rain when it first hits the pavement, or maybe its the smell of pavement when rain first hits it? Either way, I like that smell during those first few minutes of a rainfall.

21) Whenever possible, I include correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar when I send text messages. Ebonics is the exception, but you won't see anything along the lines of "l8r" or "4ever." Unless, of course, I'm nearing the dreaded 160 character limit.

22) I want cell phone companies to raise the 160 character limit in SMS messages. Can we get 320?

23) For the past 3-4 years, my body weight - on average - has remained between 180 and 185lbs.

24) I have a third nipple. No lie.

25) I used to practice telekinesis when I was younger, and I still believe it's real; but nothing on the level of what we see in movies. I may revisit it again one day.

And that's it! I'm not tagging anyone, if you wanna do it - just do it. lol.

Call Me Weird But...

...I think this is cute. haha.
